EASY-SET – the world's first fully automatic impression setting system
has been
available since 2004 to assist printers the world over in optimizing
anilox roll and plate cylinder positions on W&H flexographic printing
presses. The setting process is based
on full (100%) image analysis using
a high-resolution line camera.
In this way operator settings are optimized and rendered unbiased
and reproducible,
while at the same time press set-up time and waste
are notably reduced.
With 200 systems installed and in operation world-wide, EASY-SET
has become a
standard feature and is supplied with more than 90 percent
of all W&H flexo presses
sold.
