EASY-COL is based on the W&H ink supply system.
While W&H printing presses are laid out for a minimum quantity of ink in
circulation,
excess ink would frequently already result from the fact that too
much ink is brought
to the press, since ink quantities actually required for
the job are only vaguely known
or not known at all.
This problem is perfectly solved by EASY-COL because it determines the exact
quantity
of ink in circulation. Ink usage is constantly recorded and analysed
and the data thus obtained used for calculating actual as well as prognosticated
ink consumption. Based
on this data, the correct ink quantities for the job
can be accurately mixed at the press.
Left over inks which would otherwise need to be prepared for reuse or disposal
are
largely eliminated.
